Electronics and Control systems play an increasingly important role in the 21^st century race car. In recognition of the need to develop expertise in this area, RML has built up its own specialist team of Electronics and Control technicians and engineers.

Our expertise includes:

• Complete race car and specialist road car electrical and electronic system design and development
• Wiring loom design and manufacture
• Electronics and PCB Design
• Control system design and development
• CAN controller interfacing
• Data logging system installation and commissioning
• Sensor, motor and actuator design & procurement

One notable recent project was the design and development of the entire electrical / electronic system for Chevrolet's 2011 Cruze World Touring Car including all the sensors and actuators needed to run RML's all new flagship high-pressure, direct-injected, turbocharged engine.

RML is also committed to the development of hybrid and electric technology. RML is able to offer a KERS type power boost system suitable for touring or GT cars at significantly lower cost than F1-derived technology.
