Many of the worlds motorsport press were able to experience and enjoy a taxi-ride in two of the most exclusive cars in the world, when RML participated in the MIA Media Day at Rockingham's' state-of-the-art track.

BRNO, 15 June 2008 – The RML Chevrolet boys obtained (with Alan Menu third in race 1) the sixth podium position of the season, quite an achievement in a track were rear-wheel drive cars were clearly advantaged. A second podium finish was obtained by Rob Huff ( third in race 2) only for it to be disqualified by the stewards for a "non-conformity of the front anti-roll bar link". The team had used a plastic bush instead of a metallic bush that gives no performance advantage. A real pity, after Rob's great performance, which would have put him fourth in the drivers' overall standings.

Exactly one hundred years ago the Wright brothers, Wilbur and Orville, made history in Le Mans by demonstrating their amazing flying machine for the first time in Europe. Their flights were relatively brief by today's standards, but a splendid monument rises high in the centre of the town to celebrate the association between Le Mans and those pioneers of aviation

The first of this year's WTCC street races brought another large helping of points to the RML Chevrolet team. Nicola Larini finished in second in the second race, while Rob Huff scored a fourth and a fifth place finish. Alain Menu finished a distant 10th in race 1 after he had been shunted off on the first lap, while he crashed out in race 2.

Rob Huff scored his and RML Chevrolet's first win of the year in Valencia today, a feat repeated later in the day by team mate Alain Menu in the second race.

RML AD Group's Mike Newton and Thomas Erdos salvaged three valuable points from Round 3 of the 2008 Le Mans Series at Spa in Belgium, but they had to do it the hard way. A blown turbo, followed shortly afterwards by gear selection problems, cost the team nearly fifty minutes in repairs, but determined graft from the pit crew saw the MG Lola EX265 through to the chequered flag

Just as they had in Barcelona a fortnight ago RML AD Group's Thomas Erdos and Mike Newton came through to finish a strong fourth in today's 2008 Le Mans Series 1000 kilometre race at the Autodromo di Monza in Italy. This time they had the added satisfaction of knowing that they had achieved a commendable result on performance alone, and the RML MG Lola EX265 had demonstrated some of the pace that the team always believed it could achieve.

Everyone at RML was shocked to hear of the death yesterday of David Leslie, one of three passengers on board a private twin-engined jet which crashed into houses in Farnborough, Kent shortly after takeoff from Biggin Hill airport.
