A stunning performance from both Jason Plato and Mat Jackson saw the Racing Silverline team leave Knockhill with a total of two race wins, five podiums from a possible six, two fastest laps, both drivers working their way up the drivers’ championship standings and in his race three win, Mat gave RML their 100th win in its 25th year.

Racing Silverline’s Mat Jackson made a sterling start in yesterday’s first round of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship at Snetterton, which saw him claim the independents win and a 2nd place finish in the overall championship.

James’ first race win in the prestigious HiQ MSA British Touring Car round at Snetterton on Sunday was later that evening disallowed. The no doubt difficult decision came after the stewards deemed James to have had an avoidable collision with leader, Collard, who spun out of contention for a race win and collected Jelley, causing damage to both cars.
