RML brings early festive cheer

14/12/2007

A lucky visitor to the 2007 Professional Motorsport World Expo has been treated to an early Christmas present by RML Group.

Jörg Schindelhauer, representing C2G Engineering, based in Magdeburg, Germany, entered a special draw organised by the Wellingborough-based company at the show in Cologne last month, and will now receive the top prize of a highly sophisticated RML BSS Seat System.

Staff from RML visited the show to promote the company's range of professional motorsport products, which also includes the high-tech Digital Image Recorder data logger.

RML are exclusive distributors of the BSS Seat System throughout Europe, which provides a whole host of increased safety features over traditional racing seats.

In 2007, RML's MG-Lola sportscar team won the LMP2 class of the Le Mans Series, enjoyed a record-breaking season in the World Touring Car Championship with the RML Chevrolet Lacetti and launched the spectacular Mercedes Mclaren SLR 722 GT.

After being told he'd won the RML BSS Seat System, Jörg said: "Christmas has come early! I'm delighted to have won the seat, as our company is currently developing a concept car and were looking at using one as part of the design."

Chris Burke-Martin, Sales and Marketing Manager at RML Group, said: "We're very pleased to be able to confirm that Jörg has won the RML BSS Seat System, and I'm sure that it will be an excellent addition to the design of their special car.

"RML is constantly looking for innovative, ground-breaking ways to increase our portfolio of projects and professional motorsport products, and we are preparing for 2008 with great optimism. May we take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy festive period, and a prosperous New Year."
